A trip to Williamsburg really is like a trip back in time. Authentic costumes, horse drawn carriages, reenactments are fun to see. On a cool crisp day, I cannot pass up the hot apple cider sold along the cobblestone street by an 18th century woman wearing an apron and white bonnet. I tend to paint close-ups of people in Williamsburg. Love painting those costumes!
This friendly man was handing out colonial toys to boys and girls who were also participating with their parents during reenactments in Williamsburg. He looked just like Santa Claus to me!
